Classic rust-free British sports car in great drivable condition with approx. 80,6XX miles. This very original 3 owner MGB GT has been well maintained and stored undercover over the years. All service records available back to 1978. It was a daily driver in the eighties; then, in about 1990 it was painted and re-upholstered. The car has covered very few miles since. Today, the car is used occasionally in good weather only. Car has collector plate status, insurance is only $300 per year! This car starts every time (even after winter hibernation). It is very reliable and strong running. 1800cc 4 cylinder engine rebuilt at 40K, 4 speed all-syncro manual transmission. Recent work done includes:
* Professionally overhauled and tested alternator
* Fuel pump totally rebuilt (with original SU parts)
* New tires last year
* Full tune up and carbs rebuilt by Owen Automotive
* Brake lines + hoses and front disks + calipers replaced
* New fuel lines, filter, vacuum hoses
* Recent Rad flush, all new rad hoses, new heater core
* New rear springs and suspension bushings
* New Interstate battery
* Parts included: touch up paint, jack.
It's a shame to see it go, but there are other MGs that need my attention. Its been in the family for 40 years.
