21’6” Friendship Sloop in Cowichan Bay, British Columbia for sale

A shipwright's own personal boat.
This 21'6" Friendship Sloop was designed by Jay Benford and built by a professional wooden boat builder in 2006 for his retirement. It has been owned and maintained by him ever since. She is in almost new condition and has a 2018 survey. She has been cruised extensively in the Canadian Gulf Islands and the American San Juans and is tuned to be the perfect single handed home at sea. Just surveyed in April 2018.

All lines lead to aft and there is never a need to leave the cockpit except to anchor.
Interior includes a Dickenson solid fuel cabin heater, lounging seat, hanging locker, and sleeps two-one in an extra long berth.
There are four opening bronze ports two equipped with fans and screens for cooling in summer.
A portable galley stows in a seat locker and can be used outside in good weather or inside in poor weather.
A 16lb claw anchor stows on the bowsprit and a second 12lb claw is stowed under the cockpit.
Comes with a trailer and lots of little extras.
