This beast is ready for her new home. She's full of potential for the right builder, looking to refurbish a vintage skoolie. Located in Lake Cowichan.

The GOOD:
-She runs like a tank, has been run regularly her whole life.
-Brand New Dually Tires (less than 1000km on them)
-Front tires 80% tread remaining.
-Brand new carb gaskets and carb base plate
-Tune up at Wilson's Transport less than 500km ago
-Annual Service Record from Wilson's Transportaton dating back to 2008
-Commercially Inspected until 2018, a former Kid'sKlub bus.
-New R7 insulation in the ceiling
-All (but one) seats removed already
-Queen Bed Frame with Toddler Bunk
-30"x48" flat work surface
-Cubic Mini Woodstove Installed and Usable
-Space and bracket for a Thetford Porta Potty, or build your own composting toilet.
-Propane Engine- cheaper than gas!
-Brakes are great, lights all work.
-300W Solar Power System Installed on the roof
-3000W Modified Sine Wave Inverter, installed, with solar.
-Mini Fridge that runs off the solar
-Lots of storage in large drawer cabinets with locks for travel.
-Drivers seat PLUS one bench seat with two seatbelts
-Back Up/Rear Camera
-Light bar on back plus four lights for corners included but not installed.
-Interior electrical neatly contained in easily accesible channels.

The BAD:
-Needs a new battery ($500+) This one got wet and no longer holds a charge. Might be able to refurbish but its beyond my scope.
-Needs a thourough cleaning and painting
-The interior ceiling needs to be re-lined with new plywood (4 sheets @$38/board)
-The stove needs a good cleaning, new chimney pipe and some new burner plates, but its usable as it is. ($250)
-You might want new solar battteries soon.

I lived in this bus for two years with my daughter, and then another gentlement lived in it on my property last winter. It's an affordable home for the right person, but its definitely "roughing it." It isn't plumbed, (but could be easily and has lots of under-body space for tanks.)

Maybe you're looking to get into AirBNB? A great fixer upper for a unique B&B rental on your property, or a solid machine for your cross-continental travels!

School buses are built to keep children alive; they're exponentially stronger than any RV or trailer. If you're looking for safety, security and warmth, this bus might be for you!

There's an option of rent-to-own for the right person, as well as option of living in it on my property. Open to proposals, trades and offers.
