Full Board in Cowichan Bay, British Columbia

Mountainview Farm is a private quiet facility located in beautiful Lake Cowichan BC.
We now have 1 full board space available at our beautiful piece of paradise. We are looking for dedicated horse owner to join our barn family. We have newly built stall type shelters. They have rubber mats, deep bedding, solar stall lights and space for blankets/halter behind shelter and large dry paddocks. Our feeding practice is structured around a consistent fibrous diet
-4 feeds a day. Mixture of low sugar 2nd cut Timothy and low sugar local hay.
-Up to 2 grain feeds per day (step right feed, fibermax, Tim/alfalfa cubes, minerals & free choice salt block)
-shared or individual grazing options
-blanket/fly mask changing
-Sand lite round pen
-New 80’x130’ all weather sand arena
-tons of private trails on property
- we will also have competitive trail obstacles set up in a separate area
-lite and covered grooming area
-small tack room (individual lockers will be constructed in the future when barn construction is underway )
-fully lite barnyard
-on site farrier
-knowledgeable equine veterinarian team takes care of our herd health.

$800 per month GST included (Board cost is reflective of the drastic increase of the price of feed and to continue providing the quality feed we provide)
