Panda has been with us for 1year, and has done it all. Trail riding, crossing busy roads, lessons, kid rides. She is super sweet on the ground, lunges, baths, hauls, awesome with other horses or going out alone. Reason for selling her is that she is not sound for our mountain rides. We suspect she has a tendon injury, therefor selling as a companion/light riding horse.
She did a full season of rides and came unsound last September, we gave her the winter off and slowly rehabbed her back to arena work, she was sound until we tried her up on the trails again, and she was sore after so we have stuck with light ring work.
Panda also has juvenile ring bone in her hind pasterns, which is fully fused and she has never been unsound in the hind (tendon injury suspected in her right front).
Selling as light riding horse/companion horse and price reflects this.
